I think the overall the colour scheme in here are very dark and outdated. Dark, brown and cranberry. First- the rug under the coffee table is way too small. Should be about 2 feet longer than your couch. It should also be placed underneath the couch as well. I would pick a different, more updated style.

Second- a large piece of art over the couch will do wonders. Should be quite large, or you could do a triptych. You could pick up on the colors in the art for your rug and pillows. I'd go with patterned or textured pillows also.

I would replace the lamps too. They are too dark for the space.

Is there bookshelf or other piece you can put to the left of the couch? TO ditch one of the end tables and lamps. Would help break up all the wall space as well.

All that I might suggest is a larger area rug. Also, some art over the sofa.

I really like what you did with the place.

The color schemes go well with one another, and I agree with aktillery9 that you have a lovely space.

what is the size of your living area and is there anything else that you are changing?

You would have to measure VERY carefully to see if either of those gigantic sofas would fit and not overwhelm your space. There are too many "we regret the sectional" dilemmas on here.

I think your space looks lovely. I would suggest some artwork over the sofa.

You did well with your decorating. I like the sofa that is there, no need for a bigger one as the two you show are quite modern and your furnishings are more traditional. Yes to the art. If you really want a change, for me it would be the rug and maroon pillows but that's not saying it's a bad choice. It's just a personal opinion.

Judging from the linked sectionals, it looks like you are looking for some more modern design ideas.

Do you want to keep the brown leather chairs? If yes, a smaller sofa or sectional with a chaise might be good idea.

What colors do you like? Do you like the rug, or would you consider a more modern one?
