Yes, I've dug up Elvis Lives (twice now in the last 4 years) and put him in my Hosta Hospital. He's a dud. I give him till the end of the season to perk up. If not, he's outta here.

I just purchased a Cool as a Cucumber, she's lovely. Haven't found the right spot for her yet; she's still in her pot. What conditions do you have yours in that it's not behaving, and how old is she?

I bought a sad looking Cool as a Cucumber which was in a pot. I left it there, watered and fertilized it, and it took right off. It now looks like a happy hosta. Into the bed it goes.

I put misbehaving daylilies in time out. Mixed results, although a lot better results this year.

It's getting morning sun up until 2 pm. I am thinking it likes a lot of sun because where it was before, may have gotten morning sun for 2 hrs than dappled shade for the rest of the day. So I am going to put her in more sun and see what happens next year.

My cherry berry was a dud, shadow. I let it lump along for years until my adult son visited and said it looked like crap. I decided he was right. Cherry berry went to the Great Hosta Bed in the Sky.

Cool As A Cucumber limped along in a bed that everything else thrived in. For three years I kept hoping it would perk up, but now it's gone, the other hostas are glad for the space! I came back from vacation to find three of the six in the hospital bed dead, I guess I just built a bad hospital this year.
