Beautiful!

Debbie's garden is wonderful. I don't know how many hundred Clematis she has. Many unusual ones that I had never seen. Lots of trees, shrubs and mature perennials too. Really a lovely garden.

I have the Stolwijck Gold. The foliage is really impressive. It grows really thick and full. But not very tall. No pruning required at all in my experience. I recommend a post like trellis for this instead of the usual two dimentional trellises. It will cascade in all directions on the pole like trellis. You can get the same effect with an obelisk trellis.

These are so lovely. I'm actually planning to order some plants from Silver Star soon - she is running a fall special, order 5 and get a mystery clematis free. How to choose only 5 is really the issue!
