thanks. I did not have any bs when I picked the sb to bring up to my nephew. No wonder he did not go into convulsions. I separate the bs from other peppers. Now it is right in middle, I hope some of my less spicy peppers don't get crossed with the monster.

You can isolate an unopened flower with a small bag or something similar and leave it there with no gaps for bees until a fruit sets. You might have to give the flower a little tap since pollinators won't be able to reach it. You can then mark the pod ( I fold a sticker or pice of tape loosely around the stem ) and use it for your seed stock to make sure you don't get crosses. You can isolate entire plants if you want but if you are just saving personal stock then I think it is overkill.
