A couple of weeks ago, I planted two beautiful Colocasia Illustris in clay soil, in coastal Los Angeles. They seem to be doing fine for now, and they are kept very wet. The spot where they are planted has a bit of drainage issues. They are in full sun. What can I expect during winter? And, most importantly, will clay soil be a problem?
