I'm in St. Pete, FL. It has been around 90, not that much different from much of the country I expect. But perhaps an extra hot day whenever the pigment is being decided makes the difference :) I know it looks oversaturated like I've filtered it but believe it or not it is true color.

Awesome variety... can't ask for more if you like compact and floriforous...with a great looking flower.

Wow what a nice dark pink(or red) color. Mine does not get that deep color maybe too cold here in bay area? today's high is 79 and low in 57....

Much like east central FL, west central FL night temps are 76-80F right now.

Dave- all of your plumies look incredible! They are all so green and happy. What does your watering and fertilizing schedule/program look like?? And what kind of soil do you use? Amazing, great job!

I use regular fertilizers -- really whatever I have on hand. Sometimes I foliar feed with diluted fish emulsion. For the mix, commercial potting soil + perlite is all I have time for. None get more than 7 or 8 hours of sun, but I still have to water nearly every day. It's been real dry here this summer....not like CA dry, but below normal rain.
