Kitchen Redesign Help please

Hello,

I am purchasing this house and I like the floor plan with the exception of the kitchen. The current kitchen is small and out of sort or something. I especially don't like the corner sink and there seem to be hardly any place for cabinets. The shape is also odd not like a L shape or a U shape kitchen.

I would like to reorganize the shape and the cabinets etc. but at a loss of how to do it. I appreciate your eyes on this to help me please. I am going to include some pictures .

If the visible dining area is the only dining area in the house, your solutions may be somewhat limited. Is this a breakfast room or the dining room?
Do a to-scale drawing on graph paper to post here. Give us a budget amount for reference. Include all the measurements of each wall, including the dining area, the location of existing windows and doors.
Do you want a whole new kitchen or a facelift? What are you capable of doing yourself? Do you have any experience with planning a remodel? Do you have a style in mind? Is there a color you hope to include?
We are here to supply ideas and suggestions.

Start by writing down your budget range. Then measure and draw a floor plan. You can use the online Ikea kitchen planner, it's quick and easy. Then talk to a kitchen designer or a general contractor to get a feel for what your budget will buy.

This is a preliminary layout by guessing measures based from photo. Use it as a template to get exact measures needed later. I did a basic layout to consider without too much wall construction. IF that corner base wall can be taken out easily, put a regular 90 degree corner & a lazy susan there.

It will cost to move plumbing. So, I moved just sink. Most the time sinks are right next to dishwasher, however since this is such a small kitchen I do not think it is that big of a deal.

Measures???Approximate guess...

And you're not alone. Kitchen remodel projects are inherently stressful; there are a lot of moving parts. Plus, the process of designing and constructing a kitchen remodel requires the homeowner to invest their valuable capital and time. So there is that added pressure of wanting to get the most benefit from your investment. I've seen it in each custom home I've designed for clients, and I also feel it myself with each project.
