Upgrade from Ikea Kitchen

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for kitchen cabinets that are an upgrade to Ikea. I've had an Ikea kitchen and for the price it was fantastic. Now I am looking for something a little nicer that may have more intricate wood work such as moldings, corbels details etc. Kraftmaid looks good to me, however I would appreciate feedback. My budget is a little bigger than an Ikea budget, but not by much...

Might be worth doing a search for studios in your area ?! If you like the European sizing that ikea favours - maybe stick with European brands - most of the German products like Hacker, Nolte, Miele etc have some outlets in USA - they are very good quality. Good luck with it all !!
