While probably not quite as cold sensitive and not quite as prone to black tip as the Obtusa, the variety Lei Rainbow shed 80-90% of it's leaves at the first hint of fall weather in San Diego (three or four nights in a row around 55 degrees.)
8 years agolast modified: 8 years agoKnow some of these pics are from a few months back but Tony, yours and K's are beautiful. I liked the look of your Lei Rainbows so much back then bought the Intense Rainbow from MPG.
But...I'd also gotten mad at my Lei Rainbow back then so I cut it off (do a lot of that, I'm Irish), and since it's got two branches and two nubbins.
