Hello friends, I planted a Black zucchini from Fedco seeds back in February in my greenhouse. This is not supposed to be a parthenocarpic plant. HOWEVER, this plant has only produced one male flower that I am aware of and that was early on. I check it every morning. And yet, the female flowers are producing very nice zucchini!!!! There are no other vegetable gardens within 1/4 mile except my squash patch outside about 100 feet away, but the plant produced zucchini when this patch was only beginning to flower. I do have some Carnival (acorn type) squash planted out there. And, in the past, the bees have not pollinated my zucchini in the greenhouse and I have had to do it by hand. I am wondering if there is any way to get some seeds from this plant. I understand that parthenocarpic plants do not make seeds, and if this is true, how are they propagated???
