I called them before I ordered and rootstock is carrizo. And it is suppoused to be dwarf. It will be 3 to 4 years old, and assuming big enough to fruit? Maybe flowering when it will arrive?

This group is awful (great) in enabling. I'm sure this will be the favorite for my husband and makes it easier to put up with trees in his room :). I just hope we can have some fruits rather earlier then later.

I don't have a meiwa, but it has been on my list for a long time. I do have two large nagami kumquats that will produce lots of fruit (and did last year). I also have a fukushu that is finally blooming and should have some fruit this year. I thought the taste of the nagami was strong, but I did eat them once in a while. I can't eat more than one or two at a time. However, my husband and daughter loved them and ate the over hundred fruit that were on my trees last winter. Enjoy your meiwa. I would love to taste one someday!

Oh and yes, we do enable each other here...it is fun!
