Thank you. Been looking here and picking out a couple already but they have over 150 to choose from. And barely budding so its hard to choose color also found a variety of crown of thorns here hybrid for 10.00. Not bad in price

Yes, tough if they do not show a color photo with the plant to know about flower color. If the Caudex is wide right at the soil line, it could be very large under the soil. With the ones in the photo's you have provided. Some have a wide base and then they taper narrower at soil line. These would not be my choice. You can always feel the sides of the pots to see if the root mass is pushing the sides of the pots also. A nice graft union ( if grafted ) and good shape caudex with straight up and not tilted look. All personal choices. The caudex will always grow, but to start with a nice wide one is a bonus.

Great price! I hope you picked out a few with nice, fat caudex(es). Please do share your purchase of one or several with us.

My local Home Depot has leafless adenium with large 8" caudex(es) for $22! They look excellent for root stock. But, at that price, I wouldn't buy one without knowing what the bloom (or leaf ... or roots) looks like.
