Love the frilly bloom.

Very delicate and beautiful! Did you order yours from chamblees? I hope you'll share your review of it at the end of summer. I was going to order it but it didn't make the cut for some reason.

I did get it from Chamblees. This is its third year. It barely grew and did not bloom in first year, but grew and bloomed a lot more in its second year despite being in partial shade in morning and no direct sun in afternoon. Very disease resistant. Cut blooms last a long time in the vase. The fragrance is not strong, but I really like it when it smells peachy; its fragrance varies with the weather.

This spring I moved it to a more prominent partial afternoon sun location so I could see the blooms and pulled apart a second rose which did not survive. It seems to have only just started to grow again after I fed it fish emulsion.
