Exterior paint

I was wondering what color I should paint the exterior of this house we are remodeling. I am not a fan of the dark brown and adobe. I was thinking cream or white to lighten it up, but I'm not sure if that will look good. Suggestions??

One can't see too well with the front of the house in deep shadow, but it looks to me like that kind of house that would look good in white or cream -- but especially white, I think.

Here is a lighter picture. I would like to paint the adobe brick as well

I would suggest painting the brick pillar white, and the wall white, but with the capping (the top bricks) of the wall a colour that tones with the roof, but darker.
