I just heard back from the manufacturer. The table is 60% Magnesium oxide (a form of concrete) and 40% MDF (Medium density fiberboard). Uttermost does not recommend using this table in a place that would be considered a high moisture area, but a covered entryway that doesn't get wet should be fine. The color is true to the photos. There should be no chemical odor. If you purchase this distinctive console table from us and the finish doesn't match the photos or if it has a chemical odor, we will have the table picked up at no expense to you and issue you a full refund.
