I have both lavenders and salvias in my garden and already did my spring time pruning for them. I live in Southern California and extremely tempted to prune back some of the blooms that are already dead. Would this be a wise idea. Oh and how far should I transplant my lavenders from each other? I see in pictures when lavenders are fully grown they are so close together
