Anyways, just wanted to share how my kitchen turned out since I enjoy seeing others . I LOVE the blue, and for the most part love how it all came out. Still missing glass in my transoms , but for most part this room is done

Color is great, what are the floors? Polished stained concrete?

Oh that is a cool space!

Pal, yes they are. We did walnut and ebony with a high gloss clear coat.

Gorgeous! I love the blues. The backsplash and hood - so different from most kitchens and really cool! I love your table too.

Love the simplistic beauty. Awesome counters (I checked the local distributor and it's out of my price range :( What kind of Ikea cabinets do you have?

    Thank you all!

Aloha, I have the cheapest door. I think it's the haggeby. I intended on having custom doors made, but I slacked too long and could not get them here in time painted. I had a party to host that was planned very far in advance, so I ended up tackling the job myself.

I won't even pretend that that this was an easy job. We did 90% of our house build ourselves, siding included and I found painting cabinets to be the worst job ever. It was messy, time consuming and an all-around pain. They seem to be holding up well, I used zinsser bin primer, and the Sherwin-Williams professional-grade cabinet paint. I'm hopeful they will stand up well, but truthfully I wasn't sure if I wanted slab or Shaker doors so this will be a good test to see if I like the slab. So far so good.

And don't give up on your dream countertop, I did not think this was in my budget either but I got lucky and they had exactly the amount I needed at the slab yard. I got a significant discount because it was an orphan slab, good luck!

Gorgeous. The color of the cabinets and the outstanding floor are a picture perfect combination. Very hard to believe this was a DIY project. Congratulations!

Your kitchen reminds me of something that I would see in a magazine that I would absolutely love but like many would not have the courage to do it! Lol.

Your space is unique and gorgeous!

I'm finishing up my kitchen but did white shaker cabinets and a marble look like countertop. Many will say it's cookie cutter but when it comes to a kitchen it has to be something that you can comfortably live in for a long time so that's what it is for me.

    That really looks lovely.

Super pretty! It goes well with the rest of your space.

Please more shots of the countertops! I wanted it but out of budget so I got fantasy brown and love it.

I like it a lot. Love the blue. Nice job on the floors. You have a lot of televisions lol.

    Love the blues!

Thank you for sharing your distinctive vision.

Missing glass in the transoms? How cool that you even have transoms. How cool that your ceilings are high enough to accommodate transoms! Nice job.

Wow! What a great space. I love the aesthetics. I love that it's not your typical kitchen. The stained concrete floor looks fantastic. Those chandeliers are totally delicious. :)

What a beautiful kitchen! Did you happen to post about how you stained the concrete floors? I am thinking of doing that in my sun room.

Condo, this is a new build so we had planned them. When the foundation was poured, they power troweled it. It took my husband and I 4 days to do. 1st we cleaned ,shop vacumed 3 or 4 times. Then applied the walnut with a sprayer, then the ebony sparingly. After the color was as we liked, we sealed it with a high gloss sealer and then applied wax.

I absolutely adore everything about your kitchen and your home!

Gorgeous. Love my white cabs, but saw blue ones in a magazine and saved the info, just in case I ever want to go through repainting. You all did an amazing job!
