Cut it or leave it?...

I have a penang peach here and one of the tips will not grow (the one on the right, obivously). The other two are growing vigorously. Earlier in the season this stunted branch was attacked by mites and I think I have taken care of them, but ever since it hasn't grown. I am wondering if I should cut it off and try to root it, or let it ride. It's pretty small so I don't know how successful I would be with rooting it.. but maybe it is worth a shot if you think that the plant might naturally do away with it anyway as it continues to put all it's energy into the other two tips. What ya think?
