Can't wait to see the blooms. I've been wanting to get serenade... You may end up convincing me!

I checked Serenade out on Jungle Jack's website...looks quite a bit like J.J. Essence, which I have and really like. Essence is not exactly compact, more spreading and smells strongly like cinnamon.

    I can see the similarities.

I have limited space and really like the compact growth habit of this.

I also really enjoy Flowers that don't fade.

John told me this is by far their best keeping quality bloom.

Interested to smell it because he also says other than sensational and a few other the smell of this variety is very strong.

I leave for Costa Rica in 8 days for almost 2 weeks. Fingers crossed I don't miss the first few blooms.

With the three inflows all in very different stages I should have blooms through Nov.

Looks like I will be dealing with a troical

    stome the next 3 days.

    Not the best time.

So the TS did nothing other than make all plants happy.

The "storm" bands stayed south. Anywhere within 100 miles of the eye stayed calm. (On the central east coast)

No winds, high humidity and dry air pushing in. Very odd culmination.

    First boom opened.

Pic was taken at dusk and has zero filter. Wow

    Smell is lighter than expected.

The variety has a good keeping quality but definitely fades contrary to description, in my experience.

That being said... Serenede is sweet. How this is not a much more widespread popular choice is surprising.

    @ Chris.... totally worth it.

4 tips with 3 healthy inflows. I will have big bloom clusters like the one in the picture until Nov. This a young tree and already is pushing 4" plus blooms.

I am in Costa Rica right now... looking forward to seeing it when I get back to the states. I am expecting the second inflow to be open then.

As mentioned... serenede has very good keeping quality but DOES fade.

Great smell and I am very happy with serenede on many fronts.

You can see inflow 3 in the top left... that should have blooms on a week or so.

The leaves are such a dark green compared to my other plumerias.

    Dang... I want.

    Gorgeous...me too want...

Gahhh... what are you trying to do? Make me to order a Serenade?

Order it now so you can have this next year.

    Such a great cultivar.

The first year I had it only grew... dropped it's inflows on the trip from CA.

Not too late to get it going in TX.

That third inflow at the top of the picture is about to explode.
