We had a nightmare install of a porcelain tile floor in our kitchen. We had used to contractor before for our hardwood and had a fantastic experience but this time he was awful - uneven tile that we had to keep having him fix, drank on the job, tried to charge us over $900 more than his original invoice, took him 11 days to lay 300 feet of 13"x13" tile, left thinset over all out cabinets, broke baseboard...on and on....also, I'm 38 weeks pregnant so it's been a journey.

Now that he's finally out of our house, we're starting to notice these splotchy/scratchy spots on the floor that catch our eyes. They are random and some are small (about 2") and some are larger (6" ish) ...no idea what it is. I tried the vinegar haze wash to see if it was just haze but that didn't get me anywhere.
