I was just looking online at some different styles of Adenium and one I like in particular is the Somalanse Adenium, however this type aparently does not tolerate temps below 10 degrees celcius. If this cold its roots rot.

This is the Somalense above, but there is also another very similar Adenium, the Anaconda below. This type is a cross between Adenium Somalense and Obesum. So I am curious would this variety be better adapted to cooler temperatures as the Obesum is more cold tollerant? There is so little information online about Adenium's so it's always a mission to find answers about them. Aparently these plants were created in 1990 so have been around for a while, but it seems as though they are only ever grown around Thailand where its always warm so I don't think they would even know if they are more cold hardy than the Somalense. Who would know about their cold tolerance? Surely someone out there has tried growing them outsidw the tropics. Fingers crossed.
