Hi Sheperd. The Roman Chamoisee does contain light and dark emperador. We would not recommend using this in a shower, even a steam shower. There would be a lot of upkeep involved. The metal deco pieces and marble within the mosaic would require resealing. The resealing schedule would be about every six months.
