The plant doesn't have enough light. Are you growing it indoors?

Those are bulbils, plant them and they'll grow stems next year.

I had a feeling it may be light issue but wasn't sure. It was given to me last year as an indoor and after it bloomed I cut the stems right back last autumn and it seemed to grow back fine this year and was doing really well up until I realised that only one stem had flowered. Sadly I don't have a garden and only have East or West facing windows.. maybe popping it outside my front door (east facing ) next year would be better, Thanks so much for your replies, appreciated :)

Oh ps: I never knew that if they don't bloom they seed like that!.. So yes I will plant those little bulbils and see what happens :D

You're lucky to have gotten a 2nd year of bloom without a cold season dormancy. I doubt you'll get a third with your conditions.

It gets pretty cold here in the winter (UK)and there's no heating in my kitchen which is where they are. My indoor potted Fuchsias seem to do well every summer even though I've been sure on several occasions they've finally died over winter. It'll be interesting to see if I do get anything next year.. I'll let you know :-) ..
