Please provide the name of the light green grasses cascading the stairs. Lovely! Will they remain that color throughout the the summer....What zone will they thrive in?

That is Japanese Forest Grass (Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola'). It is a perennial, so it will stay green from spring till late fall, then die back to nothing through winter. It is hardy in zones 5-9
