Beautiful! Is it fragrant? I have this crossed with a cymbdium. Growing well, but NOT blooming :(

It grows in this pot all year; it's 14 inches in diameter with vent holes on side and bottom. Very sturdy with a good rim for carrying. It's in a cypress/large perlite mix and watered every other day in this latest heatwave (in central Texas). Gets full sun until 11 am. No smell, however. Growing nine new leads too. I have another of these pots in a 16 inch size that it may need next year unless I divide.

They are truly monsters. I made the mistake to overpot mine in a large concrete pot which it has now outgrown. I can barely lift it.

I have a neighbor who grows his like a shrub at the bottom of a tree. It is not in a pot and looks like a shrub. Had at least 30 flower spikes this year.

Do you know which species it is? I have the G. speciosum which is a much larger plant but it hasn't flowered yet.
