Walking around my yard this evening I caught a whiff of sweet fragrance. As I was standing near Betty Corning I though, maybe. Maybe this is the subtle fragrance that I have been waiting to experience. Walking closer, nothing. Put my nose amongst the blooms, still nothing.

Hmm, Sweet Summer Love is around the corner. Sure enough, the lovely fragrance is coming from SSL. It has been blooming for two weeks but the hot, humid weather has kept me from going out in the evening. I couldn' t detect the fragrance when checking during the early afternoon a few days ago. To me, it is worth the wait.
