Narrow living room

Hi- rectangle shaped living room with 2 openings, one to dining room, one to kitchen, 2 different floors, foyer and hardwood meet. Looking for furniture placement ideas and was thinking of doing a shiplap faux fireplace and hang the tv above it! ( copied a Pinterest shiplap fireplace for an idea ) Thanks in advance
