Kitchen Remodel - please help

I am finally remodeling my kitchen, kinda keeping the same floor plan. I would like to have seating if possible ( I included 2 photos as examples) I'm not sure if have enough space. I am stuck, I am hoping all of you Houzz people have suggestions...Thanks.

I can't find a picture right now, but I've seen an island added (replacing but perpendicular to where your peninsula is now) and the portion in the kitchen is counter-height and for cooking, but attached is a low table-height dining table. I will try to find the photo.
