Arm and Hammer

I'm about halfway through a box of Arm and Hammer plus Oxi in tropical burst scent and I'm really liking it. The scent is light in the box and gone after the dryer. I was a little skeptical because it's a "lower rated" brand but I'm really quite happy with it. Stains come out, clothes are soft with no fabric softener (much softer than when I use tide w/bleach powder) and my whites are white. Anybody else have this in their stash?

I'm a fan of A&H liquid with oxi. I do have the A&H powder but have not used it yet (too many other detergents to get through).

Thanks for posting this Andi I'm sure I'll like the powder also whenever I get to it.

I once loved the Arm & Hammer Clean Burst powder and hot water for towels and sheets. Can't remember why I stopped using it. Will try again some day.

I've been using it for all loads and am really surprised at what it's been able to tackle. Over the past month or so I've been able to smell body oils in laundry a mile away. Tide and Gain liquids weren't even touching it... tide powder helped but I could still smell rancid body oils. I decided to give this a try and body oil smells are gone on the first try. Very happy, those smells were getting to me!

I picked up a box of this today (not sure of scent, but A&H + oxi). So far the front loader is doing okay with powders, so I wanted to expand what I had.

I dug out my A&H with Oxi. I'll give it a shot, but I think I recall it making cloths feel dry and rough. Wonder if there's a bleach activator in this stuff ill check on that.

I was reading about this detergent on AW not long ago seems a few people think it smells like cat urine, but because it smells like the A&H cat litter..I don't know though I don't have a cat. but I remember years ago cleaning a nasty bird cage and using DOW scrubbing bubbles. I can no longer use the DOW as it reminds me of the stinky bird cage lol

I too prefer powdered detergents over liquids, although I do use liquids for some things. In Canada we have so few powders. We don't have the A&H in powder, only liquid, no Foca either. Really we only have Tide, Sunlight and store brands in powders now that Persil pearls are gone. We do have the A&H powder pacs. I wonder how close those are to the actual powder for performance. I might have to try them sometime. Glad you found something that works. I remember that pregnancy nose well and it doesn't lie! lol
