what kind of fertilizer did you use? From what I can see the plant looks great.

Susanne, I use Citrus-Tone, Espoma soil acidifier (LIGHTLY for a Ph of 6.5) and earthworm castings.

Maybe it needs a bigger pot?

It needs more than 6-8 hours of light for fruit production. If it is pushing endless amounts of green growth it may have to much nitrogen.

Anthony, several of my citrus trees are on the north side of the house or in an understory location... meaning about 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. They are doing just fine and producing fruit. I suspect the sunlight situation for your tree is fine. But, I do think that there may be a couple of causes... 1) use of organic fertilizer, or 2) roots bound in the pot. Organics do not work well for trees in pots, and growth slows as the roots get confined. I use either FoliagePro and slow release OsmoCotePlus. As to root prune / repot - you will find excellent posts in this forum from the experts. Good luck and give us an update when you can - George

Molewacker... the lime is in a 22" pot right now so I would think that it's sufficient now and for a while. Also I used organics last year when it did bloom and produced limes. Im thinking its too late in the year for it to bloom now anyways. Maybe it has a mutation where its biennial. Some individual citrus trees can do that regardless of species ive learned.

Antony, as you are in zone 10A why isn't the tree outside? Is it because you are in Florida, and afraid of your tree getting citrus greening?

Sillia its on my back porch since I rent. It still receives aboit 6hrs of sun per day.

I think im going to try some bone meal from espoma. Any thoughts?

Anthony looks like it has good amount of potassium. Just make sure you don't clog up your soil
