Does that pot have drain holes on the bottom? Flowers don't last forever so it may be normal. Also it looks like there is 2 different types of orchids in that pot. Each have different watering requirements.

The bushy one with the pink flowers does not look like an orchid. You need to plant each one separately as the orchid needs to be in an orchid media, not dirt, if you want it to thrive. I like the Ortho Orchid book as a beginner's reference; lots of info and easy to read. These combo plantings are showing up more and more.

The pot does not have drain holes. I got it at Lowe's and it came with both but I will separate them. The orchid is in bark right now but I will look to see if I can find something better for each of the plants thank you for the help!

The pots MUST have drain holes or you risk root rot.

Ok I will try to find a new pot for it and do you know why one of the stems is turning brown and if it can be saved? It used to have a lot of flowers but almost all of them have wilted even the buds are starting to die. The other stem looks completely fine. Thank you for the advice by the way.

The stem is browing because it's done doing it's thing. They don't last forever. Cut it off about an inch up from the bottom.

The other plant in the pot is a Kalanchoe blossfeldiana. It is a succulent and better suited potted by itself or with other succulents that want the same watering needs. I am not the most familiar with Orchid care (I am an orchid killer), but the wrinkled leaves suggest to me that it is suffering from root loss (rot).
