Simplicity 5212.5 Starter

Trying to prepare "for the worst", its a first world problem I know.

My old 5212.5 has a no start, does not crank. Sometimes I get nothing, sometimes a few clicks, sometimes almost a starter sound. Battery tested fine.

My plan later is to jump the solenoid and test/clean connections.

I figure between the seat, blade and drive safeties and who knows what else on this 30 year old work horse there are a few possibilities but that will get me started (pun intended).

Is a Briggs 497596 the right part number for the starter?

Anything else for me to consider?
