Fertilizer for AV semis, minis and micros

Good morning all! Proof reading this post I see it's turn into a mini-novel. Thanks in advance to anyone who'll take time to read it. For those who don't, well I can't blame you. :)

I was trying not to post a redundant fertilizer question already found on this forum, but I didn't see one specifically about minis. This question is a follow-through post regarding our discussion about symptoms and fix for having used too much fertilizer on AVs, in particular the minis.

From spring until early summer I was using the whole the Optimara 14-12-14 fertilizer packet per gallon of water on stardard AVs, as directed. I didn't know how strong that was but that's how the instructions read.

When I started wicking in June I cut the solution with water by half, still not knowing the actual strength I was using on the standard AVs. For my wicked minis, I tried to remember to cut the solution by half again.

After running low on packets I purchased the Optimara fertilizer in the bulk container. Instructions said 1/2 tsp per gallon. Last week I made up my first gallon with it, using 1/4 tsp instead as now my plants are wicked. I'm cutting that solution down by half again for the minis, effectively using 1/8 tsp per gal on them.

Only my minis show signs of over fertilizing. Based on the time frame and amount of growth I see with rust, I'm guessing that even a quarter strength of the 'packets' were too much for minis.

My question...do you think cutting the rate of 'bulk' Optimara by a quarter is the right strength for wicked minis (to be clear, that's 1/8 tsp/gal water).

Optimara instructions don't say. Was hoping to hear your thoughts. And thanks for your patience.
