First time gardener and overfertilezed

Hi everyone! First time gardening and first time here. I saw little growth on my new vegetable in containers garden, so I added npk fertilizer. All my plants did great, you could really see the change even one day after. But my tomatoe plants didn't seem to respond as well. They havent curled or burnt, they are just looking very droopy. I started to over water to see if i can flush the fertilizer away. Do they stand a chance? I feel like crying! Those are my favorites from all the plants in my new little balcony garden :(

Just be patient and do not overwater any more on purpose. Those are small plants and their root systems are so small that they cannot tolerate much overwatering. Just the normal amount of watering will be enough to flush excess fertilizer out of the soil. Don't cry. Don't overwater. Don't love your plants to death by trying to do too much for them. Just be patient and let time resolve the issue. Much of gardening is learning by doing, so be patient with yourself as well as being patient with the plants. Generally everything works out fine in the end.

Thanx a lot! No more over watering then,just took out the tray it has under and threw the excess water away so it can keep on draining. Very helpful and i will keep updating :)

Anna, it's so easy to over-love plants, isn't it? They just don't appreciate it like we think they should ;)

Mary, LOL---that is the truth isn't it? I'm sure there's days when we fret and worry over them and they probably, if they were human, would be saying to themselves (or to us) "just leave me alone!".

Awww thanx for the great comments you guys, the plants are not better but not worse. They're hanging in there. I hope they make it. On the other hand, all the other vegetable plants are growing beautifully. Here is
