I would. I had to restart one of my rooted cuttings due to forgetting it's existence. Roots dried out and were quite brittle, so I just chopped them. Plant is fine, now.

I made the mistake of letting Lisa dry out too much (as I know they prefer to be on the dry side) I trimmed the brittle roots off and potted them up in new potting media. So far, they don't seem fazed by it :-) hopefully, it continues that way.

My diversifolia was sickly and dying, all yellow leaves and dying stems. Then the cat knocked it off the shelf and onto the ground, completely un potting it. Because it was dying any way I left it on a bench for a week with all it's roots exposed. I eventually shoved it back into it's pot, more to clean up the mess than anything else. The damn thing now seems to be happy and green again! I can't win! lol.
