Pillow ideas?

We are clueless about what kind of pillows to get to give this family room a little refresh. The sofa is actually navy even though it looks black. Open to any and all suggestions!!!

So here's a wider view of the room. I am thinking of picking up some of the rose shades rather than a true contrast/accent color. This is for my mom, who's kind of traditional. She had huge sage green pillows that I thought looked terrible... I think a throw would be a good update as well, maybe to coordinate with the pillows?

What else is in the room and what style do you typically use?
Do you want to match other colours in the room, or do you want a contrasting accent?
Have you considered a throw blanket for the couch? They tend to slip on leather which can be annoying, but they can be great for adding something new and fresh!

Three things I would do.

Center the sofa on the carpet; the center medallion accentuates that the rug is misaligned

Shop for a new large piece of art in a transitional mode to change out the art vibe. Stack the botanicals one over the other in a narrow spot some where else in the house.

Find deep, saturated, velvet, suede etc tactile pillows in emerald green and/or
coral and possibly navy.

Strong emerald green; nice contrast to the subtle navy

I think I see a green throw on the rose chair in the corner of your added photo... does that match the green pillows?

If the greens match then you could maybe make it work with just moving the throw from the chair to the couch, that would also be free haha. But if you don't mind spending a little money I think some rose coloured pillows would work well! If adding a throw also, try to find one with a little bit of blues in it as well.

Use down filled pillows on leather. They stay put better. I don't think you need more color so I would consider dark blue velvet with perhaps a gold monogram in center or design. I would do either 3 pieces of art over sofa or one larger one. Let me see what I can find.

Here is nice one with some color variation. It is just the cover, so all you have to add is a down filler in the size of the cover or slightly smaller if you want it be able to squish it up to fit to support your back, that kind of thing. If you wanted to do a gold monogram on the center front, that could be done as well.
