That looks like peach scab.

do you leave many fruit on the tree. Peaches should be thinned to one every 8-12" apart. Too many peaches on a tree, the fruit will be small. Also, the branch may break.

Peaches also have a period of fruit doing nothing for a couple of weeks before starting to size up again. Loring should be ripen ariound now but yours are not even close. Are you sure you got the correct tree? Where diid you buy it from?

I did some thinning and it also went through its natural drop early in the summer. The tree is about 15' tall and while some are grouped together there are not that many overall. Other than the few at the bottom, you have to look harder to find the rest. They are very spread out.

The leaves shown look healthy so I agree with scab--but are the tips of any of your shoots deadened? How was foliar growth?

Tips look fine. No issues with foliage. Full and green color. Just lackluster fruit growth. Small bout with Japanese beetles earlier.
