Yes, I feel it will be an easy one. I've had is since November of last yr. It came from epiphytica but had a hard time after it's long trip. It just started putting out growth and doesn't seem fussy. I think it's leaves are gorgeous!

Looks great. My Mac splash suffered terribly and I thought I was going to lose the entire plant. I started it over, put it in a humidity dome, set on a heat mat and nothing was plumping the leaves back up. I finally got frustrated and stuck it in a glass of water. This method has seldom failed me and the plant is doing great, the leaves are nice and succulent and it's putting on some good new growth.

I'd like to pot it up but I'm afraid it will become unhappy again. Maybe I'll wait until it gets stronger and puts in more growth. Maybe semi hydro would be good transition before potting her up.

I would cut the top part of the stem just above the tag and root that piece. They root VERY easily in my experience. That way you can have a rooted cutting and also a backup plant which you can just keep in water.

Good point and I could have a fuller plant if I pot them up together.

we got a coldfront and it got down to 37° rushed to get more hoyas in the greenhouse. I can only get my greenhouse to 50° since its not compleatly sealed. They should be ok.... Had casualties trying to get some of the Hoyas off the alley fence. Lots of potting to do! How fun!!

Hi Lydia, question on your macrophylla baibua if you don’t mind. How long did it take to start the recovery and start looking nice. I ask because I received a cutting in Oct and it still looks like death but it is rooted and not dying. Thanks, Dee
