Would this rug be good inside a front not door with lots of traffic?

I'm looking for a rug for inside my front door. This door has lots of traffic. The rug will always have dirty/wet shoes. I'm also looking for a color that goes with the room but also will help hide the dirt. Can I buy color samples? The best size would be either 5'x5' or 4'x5'. Thank you for your help
