What else do you have in your living room? Do you have a rug? What color are the stripe chairs?

I like the idea of painting this room a nice pale blue or a bluish grey. I would keep the base board white. Good Luck!

Judyg I don't have an accent chest that is mirrored and trimmed in gold. Other than that I haven't incorporated anything else. It's a little hard playing with colors with this color furniture. As for as rug I haven't chosen that either.

What look do you want to achieve? A few years ago, a now divorced male client wanted to refresh his new digs. He also had lots of grey and black furnishings. It looked as sad as his divorce. We cheered up the room with deep rust accent walls.

I think a lovely dog egg blue would look stunning with your furniture & flooring... Buy some sample pots and have a test with colours you like.
