My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
where are you ... z5 is about half the US ... it might matter in moving it ...
when do you want to move it ... rejuvenation pruning could take up to 3 years to do ... but in you want it moved now.. you might not want to go that way ...
I may have over pruned my Weigela, I removed more than 1/3 of the growth and root pruned at the same time.. I was hoping to prep it for a renovation pruning in late winter so I could transplant it next spring.
If it is burnt looking it is because you cut it back in August and the remaining foliage was damaged by the sudden change in light exposure. If it is wilted or shriveled it is because you cut the roots while the plant was in leaf.
You should have skipped the root pruning - particularly at this time of the year.
