Master bath - second guessing everything

We did a guest bath remodel and the forum was so helpful I hope you can help with our master bath. The downstairs bathroom decisions were a snap, but I'm second guessing everything for the master bath.

We have lived with a horrible nonfunctional bathroom for so long and I want the new one to be worth the expense and remodeling inconvenience (e.g. I worked from home today waiting for painters for master bedroom who never showed up).

I wanted a soapstone pan but the quote I got is $$$ so I think we are going with soapstone tile. I originally was going to use that tile on the floor but would the same tile in the shower and floor be overkill?

I really want heated floors, just electric as a secondary source. DH is opposed. If we do this, we nought is Nu-Heat considered the best? Does it need a specialized installer or should this be something our contractor should be able to handle?

I want an outlet in a vanity drawer for my hairdryer. DH is convinced this is a fire hazard. Thoughts?

Part of the issue is I think DH and I have different ideas about this bathroom and it's making me question my thinking.

Thanks for any tips or experience.
