What caused this..?

Hi everyone. I am terrible at identifying plants and even worse at figuring out why they are dying. Not sure what the name of these plants are..? Does anyone have any idea what may have caused these plants to look like this? And how I can fix it? Thanks in advanced

Convallaria majalis - Lily of the Valley goes into natural decline around this time of year. The Hosta, Vinca and Geranium? look fine but you could rescue them. The Lily of the Valley has an extremely strong root system that chokes out other plants.

It's looks like herbicide was sprayed to close to your plants. If you cut them back they should green up again.

L of V will not green up. It looks like this for the rest of the season. Note that the other plants are fine.
