gives me hope that the chicago fig is rooting too but is in a pot and can not check.

Susanne, it is great of the trials you are doing, that is all part of things to do. As you know cuttings become standard tree's, at that time you should be a good tree pruner, but also at that time you should also be a decent grafter because those two go together. You got to built beautiful tree's WITH fruit as a bonus.

I admire my built tree's better than bought tree's.
