How tall are the legs? Can the legs be removed? I love this table but it's too tall at 28".

Thank you for your interest in our product. The item is approximately 26 inches high without the legs. This item does require some assembly, i.e. putting the legs on, so you could choose to just not assemble the legs. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.
