It looks like a great space already. But, just to tweak a little, I'd move your B&W photo and prop it up on the ledge where your white bowl is now. I love the ideas of big pillows, and I think I'd prop two of them on an angle where the picture is now. and then -- nothing on the other side... or I think a group of three lanterns would be nice, too on either the left or right side (with no pillows). And then, on the wall above where your cable boxes are, you could definitely do a framed piece of vertical art - maybe an 11x17 poster from a favorite movie?
