More Encyclia Drama Part 3

An Eclipse Orchid! What could be better than renaming an orchid. Maybe an ID? It certainly looks like an encyclia but I might be wrong. It bloomed today and had a few more blooms to go.

It looks like it could have B. nodosa in the breeding. Do not worry about the name. Everyone has Name Unknowns in their collections.

I said it before, thousands of seeds in an orchid seedpod and if each seed is grown to maturity, every plant will have different blooms.

Oh, how nice! I did look at images for B. noosa and it might very well be the plant. The plant is a beauty no matter the name. Thank you!

Very pretty! I have had a Bl Yellow Bird in sheath right now. Using my 75+ yr old memory ???, when it bloomed last summer I think the blooms were similar to your pretty flower.

An eclipse orchid, for sure. Blooming today, yellow, with dark spots...eclipse indeed.

Sheila! I think your 75+ year YOUNG memory did not fail you! My plant look so much like the BI Yellow Bird. It also resembles what arthurm2015 described as well. I'm confused and happy at the same time! I love my Eclipe Orchid❤️
