Is this Milkweed?

We're in the country with pasture and wheat surrounding us. This plant came up in my son's flowerbed, attracting tons of stinging insects but no butterflies, and it's gorgeous. We thought it was Milkweed but when I looked at pictures online, none of the leaves on his plant resemble white milkweed.
Do you know what this is? It's popping up in the pastures also.
It's hard to tell in the second picture but there are tiny white flowers in the center.
Notice how the top leaves turn white with a green stripe. Stunning!
