Is it best installed recessed?

I don't have room in wall to have it recessed.

Hello Jonathan and thank you for your message. Our mirrors are made to be hung just as they are, that is, flush against the wall. They can be recessed but do not have to be recessed.

Mirror is surface mount - you do not need to recess our LED mirrors.

You do not need to recess this model Aurora 24 x 32. It hangs on the wall same like a picture frame. You can hand on 2 screws. Can hang Vertical or Horizontal.
