Need help with pendant lighting!

I am having trouble finding pendant lights that I love for our kitchen island. They must be nickel finish and I would like the shades to be clear glass. I have found some lights that I really like, but they have cloth cords... How big of an issue do you think that is? Would you base your decision off of whether or not the cord was metal? I have attached a photo of our kitchen for reference.

Is you island not centered with the wall cabs? Are you placing anything next to the fridge built in cab?

Cloth cord isn't an issue at all. In some places, it's an up-charge, and you can get it in about 30 different colors on s custom fixture. See several examples of lights with cloth cords HERE.

We have rope chords. I really like them. The company we bought them from is no longer in business. They were stainless but I painted them to go with our other finishes.
